Colvir Takes Part in Qazpost Demo Day

Qazpost Demo Day 2023 took place in Astana on November 24 bringing together 150 representatives from the banking and digital activity area. The objective of establishing the Qazpost Digital office was to promote IT development designed to optimize and modernize Qazpost business processes

Qazpost is in the process of establishing a single ecosystem for e-commerce market actors, develops fulfilment centers, and brings to market new products and services. The company used the Demo Day event to present its new services: the new Qazpost mobile application, Qazpost Geo geographic information service that speeds up the delivery process by 30%, Qazpost Keruen service to facilitates making purchases at US and European marketplaces, Qazpost Keden service to facilitate the customs declaration process, as well as the Qazpost Market social marketplace. Liazzat Ibragimova, the Otbasy Bank Management Board Chairperson, described the Bank’s collaboration with Qazpost in recruiting postmen to act as the Bank’s agents in remote locations, thus extending financial inclusion and raising the financial literacy level of our fellow citizens.

Within the Demo Day event scope Qazpost opens the door to its inner workings, and shares with the market both its victories. and its difficulties that it overcomes leveraging state-of-the art technologies.

We see our mission in providing good services on the basis of digital technologies, while at the same time reducing the cost of service delivery to customers. To this end we are engaged in activities in a number of areas: further developing our IT infrastructure, combatting fraud, expanding our collaboration with marketplaces, building an eco-structure of our own, conducting further development of our financial services, optimizing the architecture and reworking processes. This approach has already enabled us to save over KZT 600 million for the IT budget alone.

The Qazpost Digital office has further plans for bringing to market new and improved services, including financial ones. Thanks to the large-scale further developments in the areas of payment processing, interaction with international payment systems, and open banking, Qazpost has become a financial aggregator and the operator of the NB RK Digital Tenge pilot project that will facilitate cashless payments in locations with limited Internet access.
