Colvir Software Solutions at the Digital Kazakhstan Conference

On October 30–31 2024 Almaty hosted a business event that brought together top managers and leading experts from the financial sector, Government entities and retail industry of Kazakhstan and other countries of the world. 94 exhibitors from 28 countries of the world presented their products, technologies and case studies in the course of this large-scale event. 

The Colvir Software Solutions booth became a clou for bank representatives and fintech industry professionals. This was where one could discuss key banking industry digitalization trends, flip through a fintech catalogue, attend a tea ceremony, relax in a wellness chair, and collect some presents by taking part in a poll.

All our booth visitors, including our customers and Plus Forum organizers noted the original atmosphere of our booth. It became a kind of oasis in the middle of the buzzing business world — a place where on could relax, harmonize one’s thoughts, make some strategic decisions. It is quite likely that at subsequent events we will see exhibition spaces organized in a similar style as our concept, and our activities really made an impression and inspired representatives of the banking and fintech community.

For Colvir professionals such industry events are not just a way of staying up to date with fintech industry news in Kazakhstan, as well as world-wide, but also an opportunity to mix with customers and partners and learn of their primary needs and plans for the future.

We always keep in touch with our customers, but a face-to-face meeting promotes a special atmosphere, and for this reason Kazakhstan bank representatives visited the international forum and took part in the conference even despite the high overload that is traditional for November. We ourselves, as well as our customers took a particular interest in the discussion with regard to artificial intelligence introduction into banking products and services. Without any doubt the degree of AI technology penetration is growing, as well as the number of examples of GPT pattern embedding in conservative products.

Colvir booth visitors at the Digital Kazakhstan exhibition took part in the Prize for an Opinion stunt that involved filling in brief polling lists. Consolidated poll results will be published later, but answers to the question Key Kazakhstan fintech industry phenomena in 2024 included mentions of such developments as the ubiquitous spreading of QR technology-based payments, upcoming migration of banks to ISO 20022, improvements to the instantaneous payments system, Internet banking automation, marketplace development and a lot more.

Kazakhstan in the unquestionable leader and trend setter of digital development in Central Asia, and for this reason we always take an interest in events held here that are at the junction of banking and IT. PLUS Forums are always distinguished by their high organizational level, excellent business agenda and pleasant atmosphere.
