The Evolution of Turkmenistan Financial Technologies was Discussed at the Colvir Software Solutions Conference

The Fintech Evolution conference became a venue for open professional dialogue with regard to the future of digital technologies in the banking industry, for exchanging experiences and for demonstrating solutions that could become the nearest transformation point for the country’s economy.

The event business agenda included presentations on the following topics:

  • Banking digital development roadmap
  • Global and regional fintech trends
  • Use of artificial intelligence and machine training technologies in banking automation systems
  • Business performance indicator improvement in Central Asia banks leveraging CRM systems
  • Solutions for Smart Data Hub and Security Server 3.1 integration

It is for the third time that a Colvir Banking Conference takes place in Turkmenistan, and I am very glad that such meetings in a professional circle have become a good tradition. What we were discussing today were not just Colvir products - we also talked about the future, about trends, about possibilities and about new opportunities. To make the event more useful for Turkmenistan banks we also invited our partners. We have a lot of joint work to look forward to, and many of the fintech trends discussed today may become a reality in the nearest future.

Director, Colvir Business Development Department

The biggest interest was drawn from the participants by presentations devoted to the use in banking systems of AI solutions, as well as Colvir integration solution — Security Server and Smart Data Hub. Bank representatives expressed a desire to learn in more detail about those and adjacent topics within the scope of future events, as well as receiving such information in online format.

We demonstrated how artificial intelligence and machine training technologies are today already helping banks to raise their operational performance efficiency, reduce risks, and improve customer experience. Together with our colleagues from banks we discussed the most promising areas — from intelligent scoring and personalized proposals to anti-fraud systems. Our advice to banks is to start with practical solutions that produce immediate effect, as well as build internal competence step by step. If one follows the route of consecutive technology implementation starting with small solutions that produce immediate effect, artificial intelligence will in a few years’ time become a competitive advantage and an important part of infrastructure of Central Asia banks. We also shared global banking and fintech trends that, as we can see, are really relevant for the professional community of Turkmenistan. I am sure that all the ideas and practices we presented will be useful for the country’s technological transformation, and we are glad to be making our contribution to help the development of those processes.

The Fintech Evolution conference is a continuation of the intensive course in studying the Colvir Core Banking System at expert level delivered by the Colvir Training Center. Its participants also visited the event.

The Fintech Evolution event induced a storm of feelings and provided a lot of food for thought. We learned about global trends, large-scale technology changes, and about how integration and automation transform banking. This helps us to take a new look at local processes and realize what tasks and what challenges we are facing. In parallel I am taking part in a Colvir training program, and I am looking forward to learning more from the Training Center team and to practically applying this new knowledge on my job.
