Colvir Camp 2026 Concludes in Batumi

From June 1 to 5, the traditional Colvir Camp took place in Batumi — an intensive training course on working with the Colvir Core Banking System for specialists from partner banks. This year, six participants from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan joined the program, representing Altyn Bank, Tenge, KZI, and Nurbank.

The program was intensive: over five working days, participants completed 20 thematic modules — from basic system configuration to working with operation scenarios, generating reports, configuring the payment system, managing access rights, and using import-export tools. The program concluded with an expert presentation on new capabilities of the Colvir Core Banking System and a final test.

Batumi became the fourth city to host Colvir Camp this year, following Almaty, Ashgabat, and Dushanbe. Organizations send to this type of training those employees they trust with complex tasks and with working in a system that supports the daily operations of a financial business. Colvir Camp is a point of professional growth and the beginning of long-lasting professional connections.

Head of the Colvir Learning Center

The training was conducted by Vasily Basalay, a trainer who has been leading Colvir Camp for several years. According to him, the small group size worked to everyone’s advantage: the sessions moved at the planned pace without delays, and the participants’ level was high — there were no beginners among them. The format was built around practice: for most of the time, the specialists worked directly in the system, analyzing real-life scenarios.

The participants were satisfied with the results. Rakhat Abilkai from Altyn Bank noted: “My expectations were fully met. I learned a lot of new things, especially about operation scenarios — I will definitely use them.” Madina Tyshkanbaeva from Nurbank added: “The instructor explains everything clearly. We ask questions, and he answers them. I will recommend this program to everyone.” She also summed up her impression of the system in a concise way: “Colvir is an entire universe.”

In addition to the training, the program included an introduction to Batumi and Georgian culture: a Georgian cuisine master class, walks through the old city and the Botanical Garden, and a gala dinner with live music and traditional dishes. The warm and welcoming city made a strong impression on everyone — some participants admitted they did not want to leave.

We hope that the knowledge gained will not remain only in notes, but will be put into practice — within teams, projects, and daily tasks. This is exactly why banks send their employees for training: so that they return as experts capable of strengthening their teams. For our part, we symbolically welcomed each participant into the Colvir family and will be glad to see everyone again at our future training programs, conferences, Colvir Camp, and other Colvir events.
