This autumn, Colvir launched a new educational initiative, Colvir Academy — a series of free online lectures featuring invited experts and industry practitioners for banking and financial professionals.
The Academy was established as a platform for professional dialogue, knowledge sharing, and discussion of key issues facing the financial industry. Its main areas of focus include emerging technologies, business processes, digital transformation, management practices, and professional development.
The core principle of Colvir Academy is its practical focus. The sessions offer participants an opportunity not only to explore new technologies and approaches, but also to examine real-world cases, discuss potential applications, and identify solutions to their own business challenges. Participants can also pursue further in-depth training at the Colvir Training Center in a format that best suits their needs.
First Session: From AI Experiments to Systematic Implementation
On September 4, Colvir Academy held its first online lecture, dedicated to “Practical Applications of AI for Financial Institution Employees.”
The session brought together representatives of banks and financial institutions from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.
The keynote speaker was Mikhail Larkin, Colvir Corporate AI Consultant and the Academy's expert partner in the practical application of artificial intelligence.
Participants discussed how organizations can move beyond isolated AI experiments by individual employees towards structured, enterprise-wide solutions integrated into business processes.
Through practical examples, the session explored various applications of AI in banking, including:
-
Working with internal documents and corporate knowledge bases;
-
Preparing client profiles, reports, and assessments;
-
Supporting employees and contact center operations;
-
Automating meeting preparation and follow-up activities;
-
Identifying use cases for initial AI pilot projects and evaluating their effectiveness.
Particular attention was paid to quality control of AI-generated results and the importance of human oversight in AI-powered processes.
Azamat Sadyrbayev, Head of the Colvir Training Center, shared the company's experience in providing internal AI training for employees and managers. As part of the program, teams worked with real Colvir business processes, demonstrating the technology's potential for practical application.
The session was held in an interactive format. Participants shared their experiences with AI, discussed approaches to implementing it within their organizations, and took part in a themed quiz.
A recording of the first lecture is available here.
Second Colvir Academy Session: Personal AI Agents
On October 28 at 11:00 AM Kazakhstan time, Colvir Academy will hold its second online lecture, titled “Practical Applications of AI: Building a Personal AI Agent to Improve Individual Productivity.”
While the first session focused on implementing AI at the organizational level, the upcoming lecture will explore artificial intelligence as a personal work tool that can be tailored to individual tasks and needs.
The session will explain how AI agents differ from conventional AI chatbots, how they work, and what is required to build a personal AI agent.
Participants will learn:
-
How context, instructions, and available tools shape the way an AI agent operates;
-
How to organize project information, tasks, and agreements for effective use with AI;
-
How to use AI agents to work with documents, files, calendars, and correspondence;
-
Which tasks can be automated through repeatable workflows;
-
How to improve the accuracy and predictability of AI-generated results.
The session will be valuable for executives, business professionals, analysts, project managers, IT specialists, and anyone looking to use AI more effectively in their daily work.
Participation is free. Prior registration is required.
