Bootcamp AI: From Idea to a Real AI Agent

We’ve already introduced Colvir Think Tank – a space where ideas are born that have the potential to change the way we work. Today, we’d like to tell you about one of the most exciting areas of our community – Bootcamp AI.

It’s a hands-on lab where teams don’t just discuss artificial intelligence, but learn how to build real AI agents and personal assistants – solutions that take care of routine tasks, save hours of work, and help us focus on what really matters.

Why Bootcamp AI?

We firmly believe that the future of fintech lies in the synergy between people and artificial intelligence. But for AI to work for us – rather than the other way around – it needs to be properly trained and integrated into real-world workflows.

That’s why Bootcamp AI is about more than just learning. It’s an opportunity to:

  • learn how to build AI agents from scratch;
  • apply these skills to real-world tasks;
  • test AI hypotheses in practice;
  • get feedback and refine solutions;
  • prepare an AI agent for use in a real business process.

Today, AI agents are being explored for a wide range of use cases – from software development and testing to requirements management and other business processes.

From Idea to Implementation

A common approach to AI initiatives is gradually taking shape. Turning an idea into a working solution takes more than one step:

idea → hypothesis testing → solution review → integration of an AI agent into a real workflow.

To date, we have collected more than 90 AI hypotheses — ranging from ideas for development and testing to solutions for requirements management and other business processes.

Some hypotheses have already moved into practical testing, while teams continue working on new solutions, evaluating their applicability and potential for further implementation.

Step by step, this is becoming a unified system: from an initial idea and hypothesis testing to an AI agent that can become part of a real working process.

The Highlight: Colvir AI Day

The main event of Bootcamp AI is Colvir AI Day — a day when teams present their projects. The atmosphere is similar to a hackathon, but with a strong focus on practical value: there are no abstract prototypes here. The focus is on tools that can make real workflows easier and more efficient.

Colvir AI Day is where projects emerge that can then move beyond experimentation and into real-world use within the company.

2026: A Year of Learning and Experimentation

In 2026, the focus is on hands-on experience, building expertise, and scaling AI practices. AI Bootcamp continues to evolve, with the knowledge and experience gained increasingly being applied across new teams and real-world business tasks.

AI Champions play an important role in this journey. They are active practitioners who use AI in their work, experiment with emerging technologies, and turn promising ideas into practical solutions. The initiative spans different areas of the company, helping foster an AI-driven culture not only within production teams but across other functions as well.

At the same time, a consistent approach to AI experimentation is taking shape:

  • ideas move from initial experiments to testing and impact assessment;
  • expertise and successful practices are shared and built upon across teams;
  • the impact of AI adoption is tracked, including time and resource savings;
  • promising use cases are supported with the necessary tools and subscriptions;
  • successful AI initiatives receive additional recognition and support;
  • a culture of safe and responsible AI use continues to develop.

Step by step, individual experiments are becoming part of a more systematic approach: experiment, validate, identify what delivers real value, and integrate it into everyday workflows.

And you don’t need to be an AI expert to do this. What matters more is curiosity about new tools, a willingness to experiment, and the drive to create solutions that make work simpler and more efficient.
